SYMBIOS stands for Salesian Youth Movement and BIOS (life).
SYM was founded on the centenary of the death of Don Bosco, the founder and father of the Salesian family. Don Bosco's passion for education not withstanding, he could never have imagined a movement and spirituality for youth in the modern sense of these terms.
Our theme “Selfie to Selfless” invites us to move beyond loving one’s self selfishly, towards a healthy form of self-love that drives us to become selflessly responsible towards others, our nation and nature. The event will comprise inputs from esteemed resource persons, group activities, open panel sessions, games, refreshments and of course the HOLY EUCHARIST.
